Passport to Health: S Factor
S Factor Intro Class: An introduction to pole dance workout and more. You'll experience the exhilarating S Factor Workout, S Walk and "Firefly" pole trick, and will understand what all the raves are all about! Your instructor will answer every question you have about the sensational world of S Factor and share a demo dance of this sensual and unique style of movement.
S Factor's all-women studios are dimly lit and have no mirrors. Their community is wholesome, non-judgmental and here to empower you. There is no stripping in Intro Classes and no athletic or dance ability is required. Just bring your naturally beautiful female form and come play!

Parking
Metered street parking on Wilshire or La Brea, or there's free residential parking on the side streets with a 2-hr limit.
Directions
To access their secret studio entrance, just north of Wilshire, off of La Brea is a side street called Carling Way. On the south side of Carling Way, you will see a loading dock. To the right of the dock is the secret entrance. Proceed up the stairs one flight to the lobby door on your left.
What to Wear/Bring
Students should wear workout attire. To ensure a firm grip on the pole, please do not apply lotion on the day of class.
About S Factor
S Factor was designed by a woman for all women and is a radically new and advanced program inspired by a combination of Pilates, yoga, pole dancing and ballet that’s more effective than any fitness program.
S Factor was designed by actress and dancer Sheila Kelley while preparing for her starring role in the film, Dancing at the Blue Iguana. Sheila learned how to striptease and pole dance and was astonished by how strong, fit and confident she became. Sheila is a trained classical dancer having soloed with the Westmoreland Ballet Company and attended New York University’s famed Tisch School of Arts.
The absolute essence of S is wholesome sexually. S is a journey towards owning and loving your body; S is as timeless as dance and as contemporary as this moment; S is mind, body and spirit energized by sexual confidence; S is fun, kickass, joyful, wicked, powerful, exciting and hot. S is inspired by the natural beauty and elegance of a woman’s curves and is an expression of the feminine point of view – sexuality as defined by women.
