Kellie Martin
Kellie is an Emmy-nominated actress who
appears on Lifetime’s Army Wives and is best known for her
work on ER and Life Goes On. She is also known
for her other roles in television such as Crisis Center and the series Christy. She has recently
added a new title to her resume–internet entrepreneur–with her takeover of
ROMP, an online modern children’s boutique. Kellie is mom to 5-year-old daughter
Maggie and hopes that ROMP will "inspire conscious, thoughtful parenting
practice and will, in turn, help moms feel confident and fulfilled.”
ROMP
was originally founded in 2005 and quickly became the online destination for
parents seeking style-savvy toys, and gifts that inspire kids to be creative,
curious and conscious. Martin, a longtime fan of ROMP, learned the original owner
Jenn LaBelle was closing the e-commerce site after six years in business. “After
being a loyal customer of ROMP for years, I was devastated to learn my favorite
one-stop-shop for my daughter was closing. My husband and I decided we couldn’t
bare to see it go, so we purchased it!”
While Martin has maintained
the site’s original charm, she has made a few additions to the vast inventory
and the overall look. ROMP boasts just the right mix of style and
sophistication with playful substance. The newly re-launched online shop takes
Martin’s keen eye and her panache for style and applies it to the pint-sized
crowd. All products found on the site are handpicked to inspire kids to play,
pretend, think and celebrate.
ROMP is the first modern
boutique for kids where consumers can find everything from a toadstool
nightlight to treasured toy trucks, back-to-school essentials, inspiring art
sets and wondrous room décor.
While Kellie has shifted her
focus to pursue a venture that allows her to celebrate parenting and learning,
she has found a way to balance ROMP and her acting career. Along with starring
in Army Wives,
she can be seen in Hallmark’s made for TV movie, Always A Bride.

Nony
Tochterman
Flirty
blouses, crochet minis, tiered-lace prairies, polka-dots sleeves, oh my! … Step
inside the head of Nony Tochterman, and escape into a fantasy “Fashion Island.”
Bold colors, vivid detail, retro trends with modern twists ... this is PETRO ZILLIA. Born in 1996, PETRO ZILLIA takes a whimsical look at
high fashion, using luxurious fabrics and innovative ideas.
PETRO ZILLIA’s carefree, fearless
attitude toward clothes is obvious in the structure and path it has chosen to
take. It is inspiration for the woman that is fashion savvy and isn’t afraid
to wear clothes that reflect her … she is confident, ageless and fun.
It observes and honors vintage fashion with its bright colors, one-of-a-kind
patchwork, respect to detail and, above all, fashion integrity.
PETRO ZILLIA is given life inside of
Nony’s imaginative fashion playground; her Santa Monica-based studio is surrounded
by walls and walls of lush fabric and trims in the workroom, deep ballistic
colors, plush oversize sofas and an archive closet any women would die to have.
"It’s hard for me to separate my life from
fashion." And how could she? Nony learned to knit, sew and
cut fabric by the time she was seven. She grew up watching her hip, fashion-designing
mother run a trendy boutique in her native home of Tel Aviv, Israel. As a
little girl, Nony would frequent her mother’s factory and create clothes for
her dolls; at 11 she launched into selling feathered earrings to the girls in
the neighborhood; and by the age of 17, she sold her first hand-loomed sweater
in her mother’s boutique under a pseudo label … the rest is fashion addict
history.
Relocating to Los Angeles, Nony hit the hip, LA
boutiques and worked the retail end of the business, attending what she called "the
school of life." She headed to New York on a whim to
expand her fashion horizons. Her whim turned into ten years of big city life
and undeniably her most important discovery to date: her business partner, Yosi
Drori, who soon became her husband and the father of her two beautiful
children.
At the first-ever LA Fashion Awards, Designer Nony
Tochterman of Petro Zillia was awarded the night's top honor for fashion
design, the Moss Adams Fashion Innovator
(MAFI) Award. The award was created by Moss Adams, one of the leading
accounting firms in the fashion arena, to honor a company that has had a
significant impact on the national marketplace by exemplifying California
fashion innovation through unique and compelling design, production and
presentation.
PETRO ZILLIA’s simple
vision of courageous accessories has turned into a largely successful,
ready-to-wear collection that is a hit amongst fashion stars such as Paris Hilton, Fergie and Nicki Minaj to name a few.
It has been splashed across the pages of fashion magazines such as Vogue,
W, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle
and Elle.
"Life
is short. You have to have fun, be surrounded by people you love, and you have
to be inspired."
Welcome to PETRO ZILLIA.
