Susan Sycamore, CTFA
Vice President
Senior Trust Officer
The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank

About Susan Sycamore
Susan brings over 20 years of wealth management experience to The Reserve, joining the team in 2004. She delivers trust and estate expertise to individuals and families at all stages of life, working with them to manage the complexities of wealth preservation and distribution. While some of the role of a trust officer is easily quantifiable, Susan often finds the intangible elements of her position most rewarding and meaningful to the relationships she builds.
Motivated by her parents work ethic, commitment to education and family, Susan works with her clients to make their goals and dreams a financial reality, a job that is unique to each client she works with. An advisor, an educator or even a voice of reason, the roles she plays in her client relationships vary from case to case, but she remains, above all, an advocate for her clients’ best interests. Clients appreciate Susan’s personalized care and her ability to demystify an area of personal finance that can be particularly challenging to grasp, especially in emotional situations.
Susan is a graduate of the ABA National Trust School Program, and has earned her Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation through the Institute of Certified Bankers. She is a member of the Greater North Shore Estate and Financial Planning Council, and will be serving on their programming committee in 2012. Susan also serves as Board Secretary for the US Bank Chicago Chapter of the Development Network, a group dedicated to employee development and community service. Susan has been active in Eldercare issues, and has coached support staff.
As an accomplished female professional, Susan is passionate about women in the workplace knowing their value and being recognized for their talents. She is a Chicago native, University of Iowa graduate, and studied abroad in Austria and Germany during her undergraduate education. Susan loves to travel, spend time with her family and enjoys her Jazzercise.
