Weekly Afterschool Classes: Every Wednesday from January 26, 2011 through June 8, 2011
Step Up's SAT Prep class helps teen girls prepare for the SAT and ACT exams. Our classes provide extra time for girls to focus on studying and get extra support and motivation to do well on the tests. We do this through small group study sessions, study games such as Jeopardy and more. This class helps teach the knowledge that will be needed for the tests, but also teaches the girls important test-taking techniques and ways to better prepare for a long day of testing.
Volunteers help lead small study groups, participate in activities and help encourage the girls.
