Become a mentor for an afternoon by volunteering in Step Up's after-school programs at Muchin College Prep!
Your role as a mentor is to engage the girls in class activities and share your own experience. Your story of challenge and success makes a big impact!
Volunteer expectations:
the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young women
a fun, flexible and energetic attitude
your commitment to attend the class session you register for (register for as many or as few as you'd like!)
Munchin dress code:
Women may wear:
business professional dress (dress slacks, knee-length skirts, appropriate fitting blouses)
no denim of any kind
no visible tattos
no facial piercings
no Spandex pants (leggings) unless under a knee-length dress or skirt

Step Up empowers high school girls in underserved communities to reach their full potential through dynamic after-school and Saturday enrichment programming that helps girls become confident, college-bound and career-ready.
A week before your mentoring date, you'll be contacted with more information about each program so you can choose which one is right for you.
