Anne Schlussler is the co-founder of Clarity, a
women-owned boutique recruiting agency that specializes in temporary and
permanent administrative support, human resources, creative and information
technology positions. Anne, along with partner Kelly Swanson, opened Clarity’s
doors in 2000 in New York City and has since opened four additional offices in
various cities. In October of 2010, Clarity launched their IT Division, Clarity
Technology Partners (CTP), with headquarters in Palo Alto, CA.
Clarity was named one of the best temporary
agencies by Time Out New York in 2009 and has been featured regularly on PBS’s
Nightly Business Report in stories highlighting the economy and job market
trends.
Anne is a member of the American Staffing
Association, the Women's Business Enterprise, the National Association of Women
Business Owners and SHRM. She was chosen to be on the Career Advisory Board at
the University of Richmond where she is involved in rebuilding the University's
career services. She is also actively involved in the United Way.
Prior to founding Clarity, Anne worked as a Senior
Sales Manager in recruiting. Before moving to New York and entering the
recruiting industry, she worked as a political fundraiser for
statewide campaigns in Virginia and North Carolina.
Anne graduated from the University of Richmond with
a B.A in Political Science. In January of 2010, she relocated her family to
Virginia to open Clarity's Richmond office to offer Clarity’s services in the
IT and creative industries.
Anne currently lives in Richmond with her husband
and two daughters.
