professional mentorship and development

Knowing the personal and professional benefits to meeting new women.

With members representing almost every professional industry imaginable, Step Up provides a forum for helping women sharpen their business acumen through a number of professional programs. Step Up hosts professional development panels and workshops with premiere business leaders. Topics range from financial planning to starting your own business to work/life balance.

Step Up’s Professional Mentorship Program matches dedicated Step Up volunteers with senior-level women in their respective fields for a six-month period. An individualized matching process pairs each qualified Step Up member with a mentor that fits her specific needs and interests. The mentee is challenged to achieve her career goals through in-person meetings and regular communication with a mentor chosen from some of the savviest and most noteworthy women in the field. From entry-level assistants looking to get ahead, to senior vice presidents hoping to become CEOs, to experienced professionals looking to change fields, this program has something to offer women of every background and level.

This is a coveted opportunity, and we encourage all members serious about their professional goals to apply to this program designed to foster empowering mentorship experiences for dynamic women. While Step Up makes every effort to match all applicants, participation in the program is not guaranteed.

Program Schedule:

In Los Angeles, Chicago and New York, the Professional Mentor Program is administered once a year in the spring and lasts for 6 months from the date of the kick off breakfast.
