My name is Fatinah McIntosh and I dream to be a photojournalist because I love to take picures and then tell people about them. When I don't have anybody to tell, i write it down in my journal. I love to take pictures of people and things. I love to play with the different kinds of settings on the camera. I think black and white pictures are the best. Plus, it is even better at differnt angles. I'm not sure yet what kind of photography I'm interested in concentrating on. When i go to college (hopefully UCLA), I want to study photography and journalism. When I graduate from college, I want to go and travel all around the world and take pictures of everywhere I go. While I'm on my trip I will keep a journal. When I get back to the States, I will write a book with my jounal and include the full color pictures. All of the above is why i want to be a photojournalist. My interview with Maya Myers was fun and interesting. We went to the Getty center in west LA. I took a lot of pictures at the Getty . It was honestly a beautiful place. I learned a lot from Maya that day that I have not heard before. Well one of the things I learned is that although photography is fun, the equipment is expensive and you have to be devoted to this sort of work. Maya inspired me because she told me that sometimes people may or may not like my work but that I still need to push to make it .
