Mentorship
Benefiting from the experiences of others to nurture personal and professional growth
Help girls define and achieve their unique visions of success through one-on-one, group, and on-demand mentorship. No prior mentoring skills or expertise is required — just come ready to be open and positive!
Want to be a mentor? The first step is to become a member!
Already a member? Start mentoring today!
Step Up’s mentorship model is built on four pillars that characterize the experiences and relationships youth need to develop into young adults equipped for success.
We facilitate this development through a variety of career exploration, professional development, and social emotional learning programs. As a mentor, your role is to share your unique insights and to model participation in mentorship activities facilitated by Step Up staff.

Developing identity through self-awareness, self-mastery, and interpersonal skills
Gaining real-world experience through hands-on application, access, and support
We introduce our girls to many women in various industries who have made different choices. Mentor once, and you’re empowering a girl to think about and plan for life after high school.
All mentors must be Step Up Members. Membership starts with an investment in Step Up and includes access to mentoring opportunities, exclusive partner offers, and an empowering member community.
