During November, Step Up made a special effort to let you know just how much your membership matters through its first-ever Membership Matters Campaign.
Step Up memberships fund life-changing mentorship programs helping girls become confident, college-bound and career-focused– breaking the cycle of poverty in her family and community.
Throughout the month, we asked women to consider becoming a member, renewing their membership or joining us for an event to learn more.
And you responded! More than 200 women joined or renewed their Step Up membership, contributing more than $50,000 in funding for our mentorship programs for girls. We're celebrating all of our members for investing in Step Up girls!
Each supporter who joined, renewed or attended an event received an entry to our drawing for our grand prize... a year of COVERGIRL!
Congratulations to member Jodi Fyfe, a Visionary member in Chicago. Jodi was randomly drawn from all November entries and will receive monthly shipments of COVERGIRL product as part of COVERGIRL's #GirlsCan initiative. #GirlsCan is a movement that will start and maintain a provocative conversation on the barriers that young women in America still face and shed light on those who are breaking through against the odds. The program also allows Step Up supporters to continue to make a difference by helping raise funds to support the organization. For every specially-marked #GirlsCan mascara sold at WALGREENS through December 31, 2014, COVERGIRL is donating $1 to Step Up to help girls break barries and blaze trails!
Thank you to all who "stepped up" in November as part of the first-ever Membership Matters Campaign, and congratulations to Jodi!
