About Step Up's Experienceship Program
Taking skills and social capital and applying them in practical job-shadowing, network-building, and workplace experience-gaining opportunities, Experienceships provide a great bridge to workforce pipelines and career-readiness for Step Up students. Participants will be paired with a host company and will share learnings during a Capstone Celebration for company hosts and peer Experienceship participants!

The Commitment
Experienceships will offer 20 hours of experience over the 2-week period. Students will be asked to participate approximately two–four hours per weekday. The host company will provide additional details about the daily schedule.
Important Program Dates
Participant Orientation: January 20, 2022
Experienceship: January 24 - February 4, 2022
Capstone Celebration: February 8, 2022
Expectations of Experienceship Participants
- Commit to the 20 hours January 24 - February 4, 2022
- Be prepared, be professional + take notes
- Communicate with company host about any schedule conflicts
- Attend Experienceship Capstone Celebration
- Complete post-experienceship survey

Qualifications
Young women or gender expansive young adults ages 18-23 years old with skills in the following areas:
