Through Step Up’s Career Steps program, girls and gender-expansive teens are introduced to different industries, workplaces, and professional cultures that are instrumental in informing their career interests and next steps. They benefit from the mentorship of professional women who share their own journeys and insights.
This exposure, for many is the first experience of its kind, not only informs but prepares Step Up students as future leaders in their field. Plus there is a speed networking session where teens can ask the mentors questions about their college experiences, career paths and current position.
Here are some helpful resource guides created by Step Up’s programs team to discover your purpose and the power of connections:
On June 3, Step Up partnered with NBCUniversal to explore what it’s like to work in the media + entertainment industry. Missed the session? Not to worry, you can watch our recorded session.
Don’t miss the next Career Steps with Southern Glazer on June 10 to explore what it’s like to work in the hospitality industry. RSVP here.
Be ready to network and ask questions! What career do you see yourself being part of in the future?
