We love sharing cool new projects, so we wanted to put a new documentary on your radar.
Appropriately titled Driven, the documentary seeks to empower women who are driven to pursue seemingly impossible dreams.
Sounds like what Step Up is all about, right?
And we’re honored that the filmmakers, led by Jaret Martino, have selected Step Up to be a charitable beneficiary of the project.
When we met Jaret, he told us about being one of three siblings raised by a single mother. His love for his mother, who he called “the most important person in my life,” inspired him to create the documentary, where driven women can share their voice and their journey.
As you’ll see, Driven is about breaking stereotypes and labels, and Jaret wants the men and women who view the film to walk away feeling empowered. We saw a few familiar faces (including Raquel Castro of Jersey Girl and stand-up comedian April Gooding) and met others we instantly loved.
