As a television studio and network executive, Carolyn Bernstein has always been a champion for strong, female role models, and has been integrally involved in a number of shows featuring positive female relationships, including Gilmore Girls and Gracepoint. It was this commitment to providing girls with smart, capable women to look up to that led her to Step Up.
Since becoming involved in the organization in 2006, Carolyn has frequently advocated on behalf of Step Up teens in her personal and professional life, and even created an opportunity for our girls to visit Shine America, a world-renowned television production company for which Carolyn currently serves as the executive vice president of scripted programming.
