Meet Step Up intern Brynn Bresnahan
It's been a bustling summer and we're incredibly thankful for our interns that help keep the Step Up wheels moving on their summer break from college.

Brynn is currently interning in our New York City office. This is her second summer interning with Step Up. Last summer, she interned in our Los Angeles office. We're happy to have her back!

Here's a little bit about Brynn.

Step Up: Where are you from originally?

Brynn: I am from Wall Township, New Jersey, where I grew up 10 minutes from the shore all my life.

SU: Where do you attend college? Major?

Brynn: I am a rising senior at James Madison University pursuing a major in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations.

SU: How did you discover Step Up?

Brynn: I discovered Step Up through my older sister. When she moved to California, she attended a Step Up event and encouraged me to apply for an internship for the upcoming summer. When I visited her over Thanksgiving break I was interviewed in the Los Angeles office and was lucky enough to receive the opportunity!

SU: What is a typical day at Step Up like for you?

Brynn: A typical day at Step Up ranges from helping Robin brainstorm ideas for campaigns, to assisting Libby with preparing for events and meetings. I usually work on projects involving social media as well as searching for contacts to connect with at other companies. I help add contacts and monitor campaigns within the Step Up's Salesforce website. During my lunch breaks, I enjoyed going to lunch with my fellow intern Sara and eating together in Washington Square Park.

SU: What are your passions?

Brynn: My passions are to travel the world, to help others in any way I can, and to make a difference in people's lives. I believe these passions help me make a positive impact and will eventually guide me to figure out my purpose.

SU: Describe your ideal weekend in three words.

Brynn: Beach. Sunshine. Relaxation.

SU: What makes you laugh?

Brynn: My friends and family can definitely be accounted for the reasons why I laugh the most, but I also love comedy TV shows like The Office.

SU: Favorite memory while growing up?

Brynn: This one was tough. My favorite childhood memory would have to be the summers I spent in Massachusetts at my grandparent's beach house where I was able spend time with all of my cousins at the beach.

SU: If you were an animal, what would you be? Why?

Brynn: If I were an animal, it would be either a dolphin or some type of bird. I think dolphins are absolutely incredible and I love the ocean, but having the ability to fly would be awesome as well.

SU: What advice would you give to your younger self (16-18 years old)?

Brynn: Always be the best person you can be. Work hard, be positive, and don't let anyone make you doubt your greatness because your actions will speak for themselves. Go out of your way to help others and be excited for the future because some of the best days of your life have yet to come.
