I’ve been with Step Up since 2011, starting as a mentor and later joining the board. For over a decade, my focus has been on creating opportunities for first-generation Black and Brown girls to reach their full potential through education and career pathways.
I’ve helped shape our curriculum to better reflect the experiences of the young women we serve, ensuring our programs stay relevant and impactful. I’ve also supported our national expansion, helping bring Step Up’s life-changing work to new cities and empowering more young women across the country.
Being part of Step Up has shown me the power of investing in the future—one girl at a time—and I’m proud to continue contributing to this important mission.
