Nickie Acero is the national manager, data strategy. She brings her experience in leadership development and training from her previous work in student affairs, teaching, tutoring, volunteering and direct service nonprofit work to Step Up.
Nickie is a dynamic communicator who is as effective in the classroom with teen girls as she is with other constituents, including parents, advisors, sponsors and more.
Outside of Step Up, Nickie's passion for women's issues overlap with her graduate research and activism. She earned an undergraduate degree in sociology and women's studies from Bradley University and is completing her Master's Degree in sociology at California State University, Northridge.
