If your high school or community organization works with girls, young women and gender-expansive young adults ages 14-23, we'd love to connect with you. Read on to learn more about our organization and programs and how to connect with us.
Step Up believes all girls and gender-expansive teens should have the opportunity to pursue their dreams of success.
Our programs aim to:
• close the opportunity gap
• challenge gender and racial inequities
• create journey with agency
• ensure generational advancement
Step Up Supports
• High school girls + gender-expansive teens 14-18
• Young women + gender-expansive young adults 18-23
• Girls of color facing systemic barriers and/or first-generation students
Step Up's Impact
• 97% of Step Up participants report experiencing Step Up as a safe space
• 85% of Step Up teens report feeling more prepared for the workforce
• 100% of Step Up teens have access to multiple, diverse mentors

Our Program Model is supported by the evidence-based research of the Foundations for Young Adult Success from the University of Chicago and through our SEL and career exploration programming we intentionally craft two types of opportunities:
• Some of our programs are one-time events
• Others are cohort-based, where the same group of mentees meets several times throughout a semester
All programs are free for Step Up participants! Check out our events calendar!
