Amber is a 12th grader at Carl Schurz High School and this is her 4th year in Step Up. Her love for animals has inspired her to pursue a career in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Outside of Step Up, Amber is actively involved in the Chicago Police and Firefighter Training Academy and the Anti-Cruelty Society Mentoring Program. She hopes to attend Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in Fall 2015. Amber states she would tell other girls to join Step Up because “it can help them find out who they really are!”
