Teen of the Month: Los Angeles' Vanessa

Vanessa started her freshman year at Scripps College this month. She is excited about the supportive all-female environment on campus that parallels what she had in Step Up. Vanessa is already planning ahead and looking forward to continuing her education and getting a PhD. Eventually she would like to work in international policy and work for the United Nations!

Since building community is so important to Vanessa, this month, she popped into the first Young Luminaries mentoring session to bring warm wishes and inspiration to the new senior class as they embark on the college application process. Her success and leadership is a shining example for the next generation of Step Up girls.
