In what Arleen Lopez calls her favorite Step Up memory of all time, a teen recently told her at a Young Luminaries mentoring session, “I’m glad you came today.” It’s those moments that keep her coming back month after month to share her story, time, and talents as a mentor. Her commitment to helping teens build the skills they need to succeed is incredibly inspiring, and has influenced a number of other women to participate in Step Up’s teen programs for the first time.
In addition to impacting the lives of many of Step Up’s teens and being a teen programs rockstar, Arleen is also a phenomenal advocate for our cause and built the foundation for the now thriving partnership between Step Up and her company Create Advertising where she heads the Multicultural division. We are very grateful to have her support!
