Cera Taylor is a community engagement associate at Step Up through the AmeriCorps VISTA program. Cera is passionate about mentorship, and diversity and equity in the workplace.
Prior to her VISTA role at Step Up, Cera obtained her Bachelor of Arts in dance performance at Texas Tech University. Following that, she went on to pursue her master's degree in business administration at Texas Woman's University. With most of her experience in early childhood and education, Cera found her true passion advocating for young students to reach their full potential.
Through her diverse background, Cera hopes to encourage those to never stop believing in themselves. She believes anything is possible, and anyone is capable, no matter their background. Cera is currently in the pursuit of a certification in data analytics; and she is excited to serve in her Dallas-Fort Worth community with Step Up.
